Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To compare the effects of sevoflurane and Propofol induction on the following echocardiographic parameters in MS patients undergoing MVR 1. Mitral valve area (planimetry & continuity equation) 2. Peak velocity 3. Peak and mean gradient 4. Pressure half time (PHT) 5. Deceleration Time (DT) 6. Pulmonary artery systolic pressureTimepoint: 0 and 3 minutes of anesthesia | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. To compare the following hemodynamic parameters with Propofol & sevoflurane induction a). Mean arterial pressure(MAP) b). Cardiac output (CO) c). Heart rate ( HR) 2. To compare the Left ventricular & right ventricular function with Propofol & sevoflurane inductionTimepoint: 0 & 3 minutes of anesthesia | — |
