Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade 2 patients Scheduled for elective cesarean section Term delivery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any contraindication to Spinal anesthesia Hemodynamic instability Parturients having cardiovascular disease or any febrile illness Obvious spinal deformity History of taking anti hypertensive drugs Height less than 148 cm or greater than 170 cm BMI > 35kg/m2

MeasureTime frame
To study the correlation between change in blood pressures from supine to sitting & supine to lateral as predictors of post spinal hypotensionTimepoint: baseline, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 13, 16, 19, 25, 30, 35, 40, 60 minutes.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To study the correlation between change in blood pressure & heart rate from supine to lateral & supine to sitting position as predictor of post spinal hypotension & to derive a numerical value if any of the above predictors has a significant correlationTimepoint: Pre operative & intra operative
