Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children and adolescents scoring above >=2 on Brief screener for Substance and Behavioural Addictions (SSBA, Schluter et al., 2020) 2.Both gender from 10 years to less than 20 years of age. 3.Right-handed 4.Children and adolescents providing assent/consent and written informed consent providing by parents/caregivers for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children and adolescents with history of chronic or other significant general medical/ neurological Illness. 2.Children and adolescents with history of any psychosis. 3.Children and adolescents with co morbid moderate to severe disorder of intellectual development as diagnosed using Diagnostic Criteria for Research (DCR) of International Classification of Disease-11th edition (ICD-11, World Health Organization,2022) 4.Children and adolescents with co morbid autism spectrum disorder as diagnosed using Diagnostic Criteria for Research (DCR) of International Classification of Disease-11th edition (ICD-11, World Health Organization,2022). 5.Children and adolescents who had prior exposure to any mode of brain stimulation in last 6 months. 6.Having any metallic implants/parts in body 7.Colour blind

Improvement in executive functions & decision making and impulsivity in children adolescents with addictive behaviours after application of HDtDCS as assessed by reduction in scores of Baratts impulsivity scale and The problem solving inventory and Behaviour rating inventory of executive functions self report form and Clinical global impression scale at baseline, 2 and 6 weeks.Timepoint: Improvement in executive functions & decision making and impulsivity in children and adolescents with addictive behaviours after application of HDtDCS as assessed by reduction in scores of Baratts impulsivity scale and The problem solving inventory and behaviour rating inventory of executive functions self report form and Clinical global impression scale at baseline, 2 weeks and 6 weeks.
