Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male and Female. 18-30 yrs of Age. High FND Score and Low GHQ.Should be residing in Bangalore for at least one year.Smoking history for more than one year but less than five years.Willing to participate for the duration of the intervention and the follow-up period. Willing to practise the interventions as instructed. Literate in English. Willing to quit smoking

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: There should be no history of any psychological disorder. Should not be taking any medication or other treatment. Age below 18 and Age above 30. Other substance addictions other than cigarette smoking.Other ways of tobacco usage besides smoking cigarettes. Previous history of mindfulness or compassion practice.Previous history of quitting smoking with the aid of a professional.Must have smoked for at least one year. Smoking history should not exceed five years.
