Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status III. Patients scheduled to undergo elective cardiac surgery with fast track extubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Graft 2. Patient with body masss index more than or equal to 30 kg/m2 3. Preoperative pulmonary disease including – tuberculosis, pleural effusion, restrictive lung disease, COPD, Asthma 4. Previous history of cardiothoracic or cervical surgery 5. History of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy or other neuromuscular disorders

Vitals (Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Temperature) Timepoint: All the secondary outcomes will be measured at following times: i. When TOF ratio becomes 0.9 on mechanical ventilation in postoperative period ii. At the time of Spontaneous Breathing Trial iii. On post operative period Day 2
