Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CASE GROUP 1. Full range of hip, knee and ankle 2. Knee extension more than 5 degree from neutral position, with no iliopsoas and iliotibial band tightness 3. No recent musculoskeletal injuries or immobilization in the past CONTROL GROUP 1. Full range of hip, knee and ankle 2. Knee extension less than 5 degree from neutral position, with no iliopsoas and iliotibial band tightness 3. No recent musculoskeletal injuries or immobilization in the past

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with unilateral genu recurvatum 2. Genu recurvatum acquired following any surgical procedures 3. Individuals with patella alta, baja, genu varum and valgum 4. Individuals with history of damage to the knee joint including osteochondral cartilage, ligament, tendon, joint capsule or meniscus 5. Individuals with hyper flexibility from birth (measured using a generalised hyper-flexibility scale more than score of 4)
