Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age:30 to 65 years 2. Both male and female 3. Hypertensive (k/c/o) patients who are willing to participate in the study 4. Patients under one or two classes of anti-hypertensive with (or without) regular medications, and also newly diagnosed hypertensive patients 5. Patients with <160 mmHg of SBP and <100mmHg of DBP

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Varicose veins 2. Patients with complications of hypertension (Cardiac diseases, Stroke, Kidney diseases) 3. Psychiatric disorder 4. Open wounds, burns, and scalds on the legs 5. Women during pregnancy and menstruation 6. Peripheral neuropathy conditions (ex: Diabetic neuropathy)

MeasureTime frame
BP by using a non-invasive, arm-type, automatic blood pressure monitorTimepoint: 20 mins

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Heart rate & heart rate variability will be assessed before and after each intervention by using 16 channel polygraph (BIOPAC System MP 160)Timepoint: one year
