Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1] Patients diagnosed on the basis of subjective parameters [Ruja, Shotha and Daha] given by classical text [Charak Samhita] will be included. 2] All Vatarakta patients will be included irrespective of types of Vatarakta. 3] Patients diagnosed with Vatarakta within the last two years will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1] Pregnancy and lactation. 2] Patients suffering from chronic cardiac, respiratory and hepatic disorders. 3] Known patients with major illnesses like TB, AIDS and Cancer. 4] Patient with arthritis due to Chikungunya and other viral infections.

Study the efficacy of Trivrut churna in sign and symptoms (severity of joint pain, tenderness, swelling, local temperature and burning) of VataraktaTimepoint: Joint score, severity of pain, tenderness, swelling, local temperature and burning, grip strength and functional score will be accessed on day 7 and 15 of the study
