Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 20-30 years inclusive of both having healthy gingiva with plaque and gingival indices of 0 to 1 respectively willing to participate 2. Well-aligned maxillary central incisors (no crowding and intrusion/extrusion 3. Absence of bleeding on probing 4. Probing depths smaller than 3mm 5. Absence of gingival recession 6. Marginal tissue knife edged in form, firm in consistency and coral pink in color

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) Systemic conditions (including pregnancy) (b) History of drugs known to increase the risk of gingival (c) Gingival overgrowth (d) Presence of artificial crowns on incisors, (e) Proximal/cervical restorations or abrasions (f) Faulty use of interdental aids
