Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- Patient having chronic history of alcohol consumption. 2- Patient those having sign and symptoms of madatyaya as mentioned in ayurvedic text. 3- Patient who are willing for alcohol deaddiction 4- Patient age between 20 to 60 years. 5- Patients of both sex. 6- Patient who will give consent. 7- Patient fit for Taildhara.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Occasional drinkers. 2-Pregnant women and lactating mothers. 3-Patient suffering from any kind of major systemic illness which might interfere in the present study. 4-Patients who are suffering from major psychiatric illness. 5-Patient with severe clinical manifestation of alcohol withdrawal syndrome like delirium tremens, hallucination and status epilepticus.
