Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients presenting with the clinical features of Vatarakta. 2. Patients with either sex between the age group of 30 to 70 years. 3. Patients fit for Virechana Karma. 4. Patients showing the uric acid level above 6 mg/dl. 5. Patients with chronicity of disease more than 6 month less than 5 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients unfit for Virechana Karma. 2. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes, HTN, systemic disorders and endocrine disorders and any other malignancy. 3. Patients with autoimmune disease of joints. 4. Patients with infection and communicable disease. 5. Pregnant, lactating mother and menstruating females. 6. Patients associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis.
