Intervention1: Buprenorphine Patch: Buprenorphine Patch will be applied to patients 12 hours preoperatively and patients will be monitored during the intraoperative period and post operatively for 24

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients scheduled to undergo elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia lasting upto 60 minutes of duration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal ASA PS 3,4 Local site infection Patients with opioid addiction Known history of hypersensitivity to transdermal patches or opiods

MeasureTime frame
The present study will not only give us a comparative picture of the post operative analgesia provided by both agents but will also tell us about the hemodynamic changes occuring intraoperatively. We may further know the adverse effects of the two study drugs & patients, compliance Timepoint: 12 hours preoperatively upto 24 hours post operatively
