Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of 6 to 16 years of age in either sex. 2. Patients having cardinal symptoms and any two or more symptoms of Tamaka Shwasa. 3. At least three episodes of symptoms within a year.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients of less than 6 year and greater than 16 years of age. 2. Patient came during status asthmaticus. 3. Evidence of active pulmonary disease other than asthma. 4. Evidence of requirement of intubations for asthma within one month before. 5. Patients having unresolved sinus disease or an unresolved upper or lower respiratory tract infection within 3 weeks. 6. Concomitant severe de-compensated systemic disease (cardiovascular, renal, hepatic, endocrine, hematological, neurological, immunological)

1. Improvement in signs & symptoms of Tamaka Shwasa - Bronchial Asthma. i. e. breathlessness, Paroxysm, wheezing, cough, coryza, need of any reliever drug. 2. Improvement in Peak Flow Meter parameter (Peak Expiratory Flow Rate) & Spirometry parameters. Timepoint: Day 0, Day 28, Day 56

1. Positive changes in blood investigation (Reduction in Eosinophil count, Reduction in ESR) 2. ACQ (Asthma Control Questionnaire) 3. ACT (Asthma Control test) Timepoint: Day 0, Day 28, Day 56
