Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed to have COPD according to GOLD criteria â?? post-bronchodilator FEV ?/FVC 2.Patients clinically stable without baseline Oâ?? desaturation. 3.Patients having no history of acute exacerbation in the past 3 months. 4.Age â?? 40 to 80 years. 5.Total duration of illness â?? 1 to 30 years. 6.Patients giving informed consent to undergo study related testing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Unstable patient as per clinical assessment. 2.Patients with clinical, laboratory or radiological evidence of pneumonia, active pulmonary TB,bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, bronchogenic carcinoma, asthma or interstitial lung disease. 3.Patients with evidence of Heart Failure, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), congenital or valvular heart disease. 4.Patients with CVA, weakness of the lower limbs or peripheral vascular diseases. 5.Patients with BP > 180/110 mm Hg or Heart Rate > 140/min or Oxygen saturation (SpO2) 80% prior to 6 minute walk test. 6.Patients who are unwilling to undergo study related testing
