Intervention1: Qurse bandish-e-khoon: 520mg BD for 5 days for 2 consecutive cycles Control Intervention1: Tranexamic acid: 500mg BD for 2 consecutive cycles

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Married and unmarried patients of reproductive age women 18to 45 years Heavy menstrual bleeding in terms of amount PBAC score above 100 or duration more than 7 days in duration for at least three months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Malignancy Coagulopathies systemic and metabolic illness Pelvic inflammatory disease Thyroid dysfunctions Severe anaemia Hb less than8gm percentage
