Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Full Term (GA >37wks) healthy neonates born with Normal Vaginal Delivery or LSCS. Irrespective of cord clamping time. Babies of either gender. Willing of parents for clinical study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Preterm - GA <37 wks. VLBW - weight <1.5 kg. Neonates requiring life support or NICU admission. Neonates having swelling and pain at umbilical region. Neonates with congenital defects and other disorders. Non willing parents for clinical study.

1)To prevent umbilical sepsis and infection with the help of Lodhradi Churna after 8 days. 2) To assess improvement by assessment criteria. 3) To study the care of umbilical cord according to Ayurveda by different Acharyas.Timepoint: 18 Months
