Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of schizophrenia using diagnostic criteria for research (DCR) of ICDâ??10 DCR (World Health Organization, 1993). 2. PSYRATS auditory hallucination subscale score on item frequency and duration >=2 each. 3. Right-handed. 4. Patients giving written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Co-morbid neurological or any other psychiatric disorder. 2. History of substance abuse (except nicotine and caffeine). 3. History of epilepsy, significant head injury or any neurosurgical procedure. 4. Patients who have received electroconvulsive therapy in the past one month.
