Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Preterm infants off ventilator support weighing 2. Mothers of preterm infants with working knowledge of English or Tamil. 3. Consent from the mothers.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Mothers of babies who have known postpartum depression or psychosis. 2. Infants with major respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and neurological disorders or syndromes and their mothers. 3. Infants with congenital facial deformities.
