Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus for at least the past 6 months and patients having AIIMS Bhubaneswar NCD clinic booklet

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with any diabetic complications (diabetic foot, cataract, recorded CVD, CVA, CKD, AKI, etc), and illiterate patients.

MeasureTime frame
Knowledge about diabetes fasting and postprandial plasma glucoseTimepoint: at baseline one month three months six months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement/continuation of diabetic diet which includes low sugar/salt/oil and high fruits and vegetables which will be assessed using 24-hour dietary recall Initiation/continuation of physical activity will be assessed through self-report and will be defined as a moderate-intensity activity for 150 minutes per week Timepoint: at baseline one month three months six month
