Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patient suffering from Vataja Abhishyanda with symptoms like Netra Toda, Sangharsha, Shishirashruta, and Alpa Shopha. 2) The patient of age from 18 to 60 years. 3) Irrespective of gender.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient with Pittaj and Kaphaj Abhishyanda Lakshana. 2) Patients with any other systemic diseases such as, DM, HTN etc. 3) Any other severe ocular infections like corneal ulceration. 4) Acute keratoconjunctivitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, Giant papillary conjunctivitis. 5) manifestations such as chalazion, stye. 6) Sub conjunctival hemorrhage, corneal ulcer. 7) Pregnant women, nursing women. 8) All renal dysfunctional diseases.

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate efficacy of oral administration of Musta Yashtyadi Kwath Ghanavati in Vataj Abhishyanda w.r.t. Simple allergic conjunctivitis. The effect of treatment will be assessed on the presence or absence of eosinophil count in tear before and after treatment. the duration of treatment will be one week with follow up on 4th and 7th day.Timepoint: To evaluate efficacy of oral administration of Musta Yashtyadi Kwath Ghanavati in Vataj Abhishyanda w.r.t. Simple allergic conjunctivitis

MeasureTime frame
To compare the efficacy of oral administration of Musta Yashtyadi Kwath Ghanavati with Tab. Levocetrizine 5mg in Vataj Abhishyanda w.r.t. Simple allergic conjunctivitis. The effect of treatment will be assessed on the presence or absence of eosinophil count in tear before & after treatment in both groups & will be compared. The duration of treatment will be one week with follow-up on 4th & 7th day for both the groupsTimepoint: Total duration of study is 18 Months
