Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For Objective 1: Inclusion criteria 1 All the living cases till 2022 from the Medical Record Department of Kasturba Hospital Manipal. 2 Women above the age of 18 years Inclusion criteria Objective 2 3 Women with CVD attending the cardiology department of a tertiary referral hospital residing in the selected district 4 In the age group of 18 to 75 years of age For objective 3: Inclusion criteria 1 Women with CVD attending the cardiology department of a tertiary referral hospital with a continuum of care. 2 Women who can speak local Karnataka languages and English Stakeholders 3 Healthcare professionals working in the cardiology unit both doctors and nurses with at least 6 months of experience in handling cardiac patients 4 Public health professionals working in NCD clinics and NPCDCS office for cardiovascular disease and its risk factors with at least 6 months of experience. 5 Cardiovascular diseases under ICD 10 classification of the circulatory system

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria- Objective 1: • The databases with incomplete case sheet information and Death reports • Women who are relocated to another living area • Women who canâ??t communicate in Karnataka languages and English Exclusion criteria- Objective 2: • Not willing to participate in the study. • Recently migrated to the area or relocated (1 year). • Canâ??t speak local languages and English • Having psychological disabilities, not able to discern the questions. Exclusion criteria- Objective 3: • Not willing to participate in the study. Not able to discern the matter and give interviews like hearing disability or Psychological disabilities.
