Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient willing to sign the consent form. 2.All patients of age group (25-45 years) irrespective of any sex, community and locality will be included. 3.Patient fulfilling the diagnostic criteria for Pandu Roga. 4. Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) of mild and moderate type (Hb% within range of 8-11gm/dl) will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient not willing for clinical trials. 2.Patient below age 25 and above age 45 years. 3.Anemia other than IDA will be excluded. 4.Dimorphic Anemia will be excluded. 5.Patients of acute blood loss will be excluded. 6.Anemia due to leukemia and other malignant disorders will be excluded. 7.Hb% below range of 8gmdl.

Change in symptoms and lab test (CBC, ESR, PBS, S.ferritin, S.iron level,TIBC, Urine and stool routine and microscopic examination, FBS, Lipid profile, LFT, RFT) will be analyzed on each 10th days during treatment and post treatment again changes in all symptoms and lab test (CBC, ESR, PBS,S.ferritin,S.iron level,TIBC,Urine and stool routine and microscopic examination, FBS, Lipid profile, LFT, RFT) will be examined to evaluate the effect of treatment on patient.Timepoint: Treatment duration 30 days Follow up on 10th, 20th and 30th day	—

To advice preventive measures to check the occurence of disease in individuals & masses. 3. To standadize an ayurvedic line of treatment both drug & dose which may have an effective role in management of patients of Pandu Roga. 4.To explain Pandu Roga on the basis of critical review in classical text of ayurveda with the help of modern literature. 5.To provide cheap, safe & effective treatment from ayurveda to Pandu Roga Patients. 6. To rule out secondary cause that count for Iron Deficiency Anemia & to prevent complication of anemia.Timepoint: 2 Years	—
