Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex between 40 to 65 years with symptoms of katigraha. Having chronicity of katigraha less than 10 years. Fit for swedana and ultrasound therapy. Willing to provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and Lactating women. Patients suffering from lumbar spondylotic myelopathy, lumbar spondylitis and lumbar spondylolisthesis. Recent lumbar, spinal surgery or previous surgery for lumbar spondylotic myelopathy or implanted instrumentation . Patients suffering from uncontrolled systemic disorders as diabetic or diabetic neuropathy, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, hypertension.

Change in pain which will be assessed through VAS SCALETimepoint: Baseline day and after completion of trial

Change in ODI Scale. Change in quality of life (QoL) that will be assessed by the SF-12 Health Survey Questionnaire. Range of MotionTimepoint: Baseline day and after completion of trial
