Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients coming with pain in right iliac fossa and presenting as appendicitis. 2. Age of patients between 10-80 years of both genders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with generalised peritonitis 2. Patients with appendicular lump or abscess 3. Pregnant females 4. Patients associated with Kochâ??s abdomen

To evaluate the feasibility and value of Modified Alvarado scoring system as an aid in surgical decision making in cases of possible appendicitis and thus reducing the number of negative laparotomies.Timepoint: 2weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks
