Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)The age range of 20-60 years. 2)Patients with absence of any systemic disease. 3)Patients diagnosed with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and apical periodontitis 4)Single rooted maxillary and mandibular anteriors and premolars teeth. 5)Preoperative VAS score should be higher than 7.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with any systemic diseases. 2)Pregnant and lactating patients. 3)Patients under medication for chronic pain. 4)Immunocompromised patients 5)Patients who were on antibiotic use within the last one month and analgesic use within the last 5 days. 6)Patients allergic to any medications 7)Presence of other teeth requiring root canals treatment in the same arch or having periodontal problems,teeth with calcified canals, fracture lines, root resorption, acute and chronic abscesses. 8)Presence of any peri apical lesion/ pathology in the radiograph. 9)Non restorable teeth. 10)Patients with history of flare ups. 11)Subjected to any procedural mishaps or complication during the course of the treatment
