Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients ready to give informed consent. 2.Age group: 30-55 years of either sex. 3.Patients with no systemic disease. 4.Patients with chronic periodontitis. 5.The patients should have an ability to maintain good oral hygiene. 6.The patients must give an informed consent for the surgical procedure. 7.Patient with bilateral periodontal pockets of =5 mm and radiographic evidence of vertical bone loss.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.The patients showing unacceptable and non-compliant oral hygiene during presurgical (Phase I) period. 2.Any Systemic illness known to affect the outcome of periodontal therapy. 3.Allergic to medications. 4.Pregnant and lactating women. 5.Use of tobacco/smoking in any form. 6.Patients with orthodontic malformed teeth. 7.Handicapped and mentally retarded patients
