Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elective upper limb surgeries of elbow, forearm and hand. ASA 1-3. BMI 18.5 - 30.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre existing neurologic deficits. Coagulopathy. Known case of obstructive or restrictive pulmonary disease. Known case of renal failure. Known case of hepatic failure. Known allergy or intolerance to any of the drugs used in the study. Receiving general anaesthesia. Pregnancy. Prior surgery in the corresponding side of the neck or infraclavicular fossa. Evidence of infection at the axillary or costoclavicular area. Patients unable to abduct operative arm.
