Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 150 patients, systemically healthy with Periodontitis and aged between 20 to 50 years will be selected for the study. Patient with Periodontitis will be selected from Department of Periodontology S.G.T Dental college , During my visit to college, I will be collecting sample of Patients for microbiological analysis and clinical parameters will be examined, and the sample will be transferred to sirsa in Biotechnology department (CDLU) for RT - PCR study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The plaque samples will be collected after isolating the site with sterile cotton rolls. A sterile paper point will be introduced to the base of the pocket and plaque sample will be taken . The paper with the collected plaque will be dispensed in separate vials containing transport media viz. thioglycolate broth with hemin and Vit k (transport 8 medium) and sealed tightly to avoid contamination.
