Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with symptoms of Waram-i-Kabid ḤÄ?rr (All cases of acute hepatitis) i.e. fever, loss of appetite, Fatigue, Nausea or vomiting, Tender hepatomegaly, pain, and heaviness in the right hypochondriac region. Acute hepatitis of any etiology i.e., viruses, bacteria, parasites, alcohol, chemicals and toxic reactions to drugs Raised Liver Enzymes: AST >38U/L, ALT >41U/L, ALP >96 U/L and/or Serum Bilirubin >1.2mg/dl
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy (as it results in other changes in Bawl) Renal disorders that alter the characteristics of urine. Diabetes mellitus with polyurea. Use of any diet i.e., saffron, AmaltaÌ?s (Indian labrum), beet root, black berries, carrots, or drug i.e., rifampicin, phenazopyridine, vit b complex & iron supplements within previous 24 hours, as it may alter the colour, viscosity, turbidity and sediment in urine. Use of Henna on palms or head (within 48 hours) H/o Muná¸?ij, Mushil and Mudirr therapy with in previous 48 hours. Females during their menstrual period.
