Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female patients aged 18-70 years, American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA I-III) undergoing mastectomy for breast cancer

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Known allergy to lidocaine 2. Males 3. Age 70 years 4. ASA status IV or greater 5. History of previous breast surgery except diagnostic biopsy 6. Toilet mastectomy, Breast conservative surgery 7. BMI > 40 kg/m2 8. Kyphosis, scoliosis, previous spinal surgery 9. Infection at the injection site 10. Pregnancy 11. Patient refusal
