Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the ease of I-GEL insertion in patients receiving 0.25mg/kg of succinylcholine to propofol (Group P) or etomidate (Group E) as the induction agent.Timepoint: Time taken for I-GEL insertion. 0- 10 seconds 11- 20 seconds 21- 30 seconds 31- 40 seconds Number of attempts 1 attempt greater than or equal to 2 attempts Failure

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess hemodynamic changes (Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, Mean Arterial Pressure, Heart Rate, SpO2) following anaesthesia induction & I-GEL insertion & to study any postoperative complications (Sore-throat, Dysphagia, Dysphonia, Numbness in Tongue or Oropharynx) in patients receiving 0.25mg/kg of succinylcholine to propofol (Group P) or etomidate (Group E) as the induction agent.Timepoint: Hemodynamic Changes- 1 minute before induction After induction After I-GEL insertion After one minute After two minutes After three minutes Post Op Complications- one hour after end of surgery
