Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who give valid inform consent and willing to participate in the study ASA grade I/II patients Age group of 18 to 60 years scheduled to undergo elective laparoscopic surgeries, under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusing to participate in the study Any contraindication to the use of drug ASA III or more, Emergency procedure Pregnant and lactating patients Patients with history of motion sickness Patients on steroid therapy, antiemetics or on treatment with other medication known to produce nausea and vomiting .

To compare the efficacy of a single dose of palonosetron versus ondansetron versus granisetron for the prevention of postoperative nausea & vomiting after laparoscopic surgeries.Timepoint: metric units by visual analog scale for the first 24 hours

To study the requirement for rescue anti-emetic medications Timepoint: number of persons requiring anti emetics in metric terms for 24 hours in the post operative period
