Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients in an age group of 30 to 60 years. - Patients showing classical sign & symptoms of polyuria, turbidity in urine, increased frequency of micturition, polydipsia, increased appetite, Burning in heels etc. - Score more than 10 in Madhumeha Assessment Tool (MAT) of Ministry of Ayush, GOI. - FBS: 126 mg/dl-200 mg/dl - PPBS: 200 mg/dl-300 mg/dl - HbA1c: 6.5%-9.0%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients with gestational diabetes. - Patients less than 30 years & more than 60 years. - Emergency cases in Diabetes Mellitus. - Patients with Type-1 Diabetes Mellitus. - Excessive blood glucose: FBS >=201mg/dl and PPBS >=301mg/dl - HbA1C more than 9% - Cases of Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus with history of more than 5 years. - Patients with known case of any Chronic Diseases like-HIV, Malignancy, etc.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
FBS: Less then or equal to 125 mg/dl. PPBS : Less then or equal to 200 mg/dl. HbA1c : less then 6.5 %.Timepoint: 90 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Micturition often, turbidity in urine, polydipsia, fatigue, burning in heels.Timepoint: 90 days
