Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: A written consent for participation in the study. Patients having moderate to severe acne vulgaris.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age less than 15 years. Patients having mild facial acne vulgaris, papulopustular rosacea. Married female, pregnant women and women who intend to became pregnant during the course of treatment, lactating mothers. History of macrolide sensitization, having polycystic ovary. Presence of renal and hepatic derangement, pre-existing hyperlipidemia, past history of photosensitivity, allergic reaction to the prescribed drugs. Presence of systemic disease. Drug induced acneiform eruptions
