Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Participants from either gender. 2.Participants between 20 and 60 years of age irrespective of socio-economic status. 3.Participants fulfilling the criteria for alcohol withdrawal symptoms. 4.Participants willing to give informed consent and comply with study procedures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant and nursing female. 2.Participants suffering from renal failure. 3.Participants suffering from serious somatic disorder. 4.Participants on fluid restrictions, swallowing difficulties.
