Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children 12-59 months of age with Haemoglobin 7-10.9 g/dl and transferrin saturation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Received blood transfusion in last 3months Received iron supplementation for >= 2weeks in last 2 months Chronic gastrointestinal condition which affects the iron absorption such as chronic diarrhoea , celiac disease Any chronic systemic illness ( JRA, SLE, Chronic renal failure)
