Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Time to first rescue analgesia i.e., the time from successful completion of the block procedure till the administration of rescue analgesic. (VAS score more than or equal to 4 or on patient demand).Timepoint: Post operative period

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Visual Analogue Score (VAS) assessed 1, 6, 12 and 24 hrs. postoperatively. 2. Time to complete the block/infiltration procedure. 3. Total dose of rescue analgesic (mg) administered in twenty-four hours. 4. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure, (mmHg) assessed at 1, 6, 12 and 24 hrs postoperatively. 5. Heart rates measured at same time points. 6. Frequency of adverse events.Timepoint: Post operative period
