Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18-65 years 2. Both genders 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Grading, I-II 4.Elective head, neck, face, middle ear, spine and neurosurgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. 65 years 2.Non-consenting as well as pregnant patients 3.Patients with uncontrolled co-existing systemic or metabolic diseases 4.History of alcohol or substance abuse or psychiatric illness 5.Known sensitivity to dexmedetomidine 6.BMI >30 kg/m2
