Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women at term- more than or equal to 37 weeks gestation. 2. Singleton pregnancy. 3. Cephalic presentation. 4. Reactive CTG (cardiotocography) trace. 5. Bishop score

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Symptoms and signs suggestive of chorioamnionitis. 2. Prior uterine surgery (caesarean section, myomectomy),. 3. Multiparous 3 or more 4. Bad obstetric history. 5. Severe IUGR. 6. Severe oligohydramnios. 7. Contraindications to vaginal delivery like placenta previa and cephalopelvic disproportion. 8. Medical disorders complicating pregnancy, GDM, preeclampsia, heart disease, renal disease, pulmonary disease. 9. Active vaginal bleeding.
