Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients posted for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Age >= 18 years. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) class I and II patients.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients having renal insufficiency, cardiovascular insufficiency. Alcoholism, drug abuse, physiological or other emotional problems that are likely to invalidate informed consent. Patients with history of known allergy to bupivacaine. Patients having bleeding diathesis/ anti-coagulants/ chronic analgesic medications.
