Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with symptoms of Sthaulya. BMI > 25kg/m2 & up to 39.9 kg/m2. Waist hip ratio > or equal to 0.95 in males & > or equal to 0.8 in females. Patient of either sex aged between 20-60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: BMI more than 40kg/ m2. Known case of hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, Cushing syndrome etc. Other systemic diseases which interfere with the course of treatment. Pregnant and lactating women

Primary

MeasureTime frame
- The outcome will be assessed on the basis of: Hampered movements Difficulty in sexual inntercourse breathlessness debility over sweating foul smell excessive hunger excessive thirst excessive sleep Timepoint: outcome will be evaluated every 15th day for 90 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
weight, BMI, waist hip ratio & thickness of skin foldTimepoint: outcome will be evaluated every 15th day for 90 days
