Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consenting women between 18-35 yrs with uncomplicated singleton full term pregnancy with American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status II or III undergoing elective CD under SAB

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of cardiovascular problems or preeclampsia or foetal growth restriction, BMI >35 kg/m2, baseline hypotension (SBP <100 mmHg), antepartum bleeding or placenta praevia and subjects with contraindications to spinal anesthesia (i.e., bleeding tendency, allergy to local anes¬thetics, sepsis, local site infection); inability to tolerate the PLR (unable to lie supine or has pain with PLR); inability to comprehend
