Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting or valve repair/replacement procedures. -Patients in the age group of 20-60 years of either gender.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients having contraindications to insertion of TEE transducer -Patients weighing less than 25 kg -Patients having organic disease of tricuspid valve, tricuspid ring/prosthesis, more than mild tricuspid regurgitation, tricuspid annular calcification -Patients on pacemaker -Patients having heart rhythm other than normal sinus rhythm -Patients having poor TTE window -Pericardial disease -Patients having congenital shunt lesions -Patients requiring inotropic/vasopressor support prior to induction of anaesthesia.
