Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Normal healthy individuals with Fitzpatrick skin type iii and type iv Those who are non-smokers Those who are willing to avoid direct exposure to sunlight Those who are willing to avoid the usage of cosmetics sunscreens and cosmetic therapies Those who are willing to avoid a diet rich in carotenoid-rich food Either sex aged between 18 to 45 years Willing to participate with signed informed consent Healthy Individuals of either sex aged between 18 to 45 years Those who are willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Volunteers with skin infections over the face 2)Those having allergies to cosmetics moisturisingagents or other skin treatment products 3)Those who are willing to continue any personal face care products during study 4)Those who are using over the counter medicines for skin using intoxicants or participating in another intervention during the study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To asses the changes in the skin parameters: skin elasticity skin complexion after the application of Kumkumadi TailaTimepoint: 7th and 15th day from the start of the research

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the changes in the concentration of melanin by using a skin colour probe To assess the changes in the epidermis layer of the skin using an ultrasound probe To assess the homeostasis of the skin by using the hydration and TEWL probe To assess the elasticity of the skin by using an elasticity probe Timepoint: 7th and 15th day
