Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elective and emergency caesarean section ASA - II and III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age : 40 years of age Patient refusal Allergic to Local anaesthetic Bleeding disorder Parturients who is already on MgSO4 for Pre-eclampsia / Eclampsia

To assess sedation using Modified Ramsay Sedation ScaleTimepoint: 0 , 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , 12 , 18 & 24 hours post-operatively;To assess the Intensity of post- operative pain , Haemodynamic status & side effects of parturients over 24 hours post- opertivelyTimepoint: 0 , 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , 12 , 18 & 24 hours post-operatively;To assess the total requirement of rescue analgesia over a period of 24 hours post-operativelyTimepoint: 0 , 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , 12 , 18 & 24 hours post-operatively
