Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients upto the age of 70years ASA physical status 1 and 2. patients who are planned for videolaproscopic hysterectomy( no conversion to open) patients who are willing to participate with valid consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA Status more than 2 Allergic and contradiction to the administration of the drugs used in the study infections and injuries at the puncture sites BMI 40 Patients with severe neurological or psychiatric disorders Patients with history of opioid abuse Oncological Surgery Substantial hepatic or renal impairment Long standing diabetes (more than 10 years) Prolonged Duration of Surgery (more than three hours)

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare Landmark guided versus ultrasound guided TAP block efficacy Hemodynamic response intra operatively and post operatively. Opioid consumptionTimepoint: post operative pain score at 0,2,6,12 and 24 hours

MeasureTime frame
Reduced opioid consumption in laproscopic hysterectomy patients intraoperatively and post operatively following TAP BLOCK.Timepoint: To see the vas score post operatively
