Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
After giving muscle relaxant and before intubation, during mask ventilation ultrasonography will be done to estimate transverse tracheal diameter at the level of cricoid (subglottic tracheal diameter). This diameter usually corresponds to Outer Diameter(OD) of Microcuff ETT. We will estimate ID with this ODTimepoint: at the time of Induction.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
After giving muscle relaxant and before intubation, during mask ventilation ultrasonography will be done to estimate transverse tracheal diameter at the level of cricoid (subglottic tracheal diameter). This diameter usually corresponds to Outer Diameter(OD) of Microcuff ETT. We will estimate ID with this ODTimepoint: After intubation
