Inclusion criteria: 1.patients planned for rectal resection with a perineal phase of operation. 2.patients of 18-75 years 3.patients with comorbidities of hypertension and diabetes. 4.patients will be from TMH and ACTREC

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Squamous cell carcinoma. 2.Active perineal infection prior to surgery.
