Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.unilateral Class 2 Carious lesions in molars and premolars (GV BLACKâ??S CLASSIFICATION). not extending beyond the axial line angles and having no symptoms of irreversible pulpitis will be included in the study. 2. A written informed consent will be taken from all the patients and only those patients ready to sign the consent form will be included in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with poor oral hygiene, diastema between posterior teeth due to periodontal problems, severe periodontal disease, mal-aligned and heavy bruxism resulting in lost physiologic contour, will be excluded. 21 2. Tooth indicated as an abutment for fixed partial denture and tooth having more than grade 1 mobility. 3. Teeth with developmental anomaly or pathology or congenital defects will be excluded. 4. Patients with Non restorable subgingival caries will be excluded. 5. Patients with occlusal discrepancies will be excluded from the study. 6. Pregnant and lactating mothers will be excluded from the study.
