Study is to compare intraoperative haemodynamics and recovery pattern in two different models of total intravenous anesthesia with target controlled infusion (TCI-TIVA)- Schnider and Eleveld models- which are algorithm based on artificial intelligence in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery

Comparision between Schnider and Eleveld model of target controlled infusion with effect site concentration target mode on intraoperative haemodynamics and recovery pattern in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery

Interventions

Intervention1: Eleveld models of propofol 2%, effect site concentration of 4 microgram /ml is set initially, later drug infusion was changed to maintain depth of anesthesia by measured by bi spectral

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1)Intraoperative haemodynamics during induction, intraoperative and immediate post operative period 2)Assessing recovery pattern after TCI has stopped Timepoint: Vitals, BIS, TOF will be recorded just prior to induction, within 2-3 min after induction and within 2-3min after LMA insertion, every 10 min till completion of surgery,at the time of giving reversal and within 2-3 minutes of extubation.Vitals,Ramsay sedation score,Modified aldrete score,VAS recorded in the postop every 10 min upto 1 hour.Change in vitals recorded every 10 min and time taken for eye opening, responding for oral commands, verbal response after stopping of TCI is noted.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)Time for induction is calculated in both the models. 2)Amount of drug propofol used in both models while conducting the study. 3)Usage of other analgesics to maintain VAS score of /- 4 in both models in the post operative period. Timepoint: Induction, intraoperative and postoperative period
